INDUSTRIALISTS, HIGH PROFILE POLITICIANS, OTHERS SET TO ATTEND OKPE CULTURAL DAY
Eminent industrialists, high profile politicians and religious leaders have confirmed their intention to attend this year’s Okpe Cultural Day in Sapele.
“It is a day to reflect upon the beliefs of Okpe people, present our civilization, sociological and philosophical conceptions to the international community”
A statement issued by the President General of Okpe Peace and Unity Development Association, Anthony Akpeki, said the event would take place on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at Sapele Atlantic Club, Sapele Town.
Tagged: “The biggest gathering of Okpe faces in Sapele, the statement said Okpe artists, scholars, government officials and industrialists from across the country and abroad have been invited to this year’s Okpe Cultural Day.
“Guests will dance to traditional music and also enjoy Okpe dishes”
The Okpe Cultural Day, according to Anthony Akpeki, is aimed at fostering love, peace and unity among Okpe people.
The theme is “Okpe personality, civilization and structure”
The Okpe Peace and Unity Development Association, a non-profit political organisation, has been working for the progress, prosperity and welfare of the people of Okpe Kingdom.
“Our cause is the cause of the people of Okpe Kingdom” the statement added.
